Billing Policies

Please have your insurance card available at each visit. All charges are billed to and is the responsibility of the patient. Our billing staff is available to help you with filing the claim. However, you will be responsible for any copays, coinsurance and/or deductibles at the time of service. We accept VISA, Mastercard , American Express and Discover for your convenience.

Medicaid Questions

Q: Do you accept new Medicaid patients?
A: We are not currently accepting “new” Medicaid patients.
Q: Which Medicaid Plans do you accept?
A: For Medicaid patients who are already established with our office, we accept Community Health Choice, Texas Children’s Star and Traditional Medicaid. We not contracted with Amerigroup.
Q: My statement says my child is due for a THSteps Check-up. Can this be done in your office?
A: Yes, we do provide THSteps Check-ups in our office. These exams must be scheduled on Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons ONLY.
Q: What if I haven’t received my monthly Medicaid paper statement in the mail for the current month?
A: Without this paper we will not be able to see your child for his/her appointment. If you haven’t received it in the mail, you can go to your local DHS (Department of Health & Human Services) Office and obtain a temporary copy. If you are unable to obtain a temporary copy, you will have to go to the nearest emergency room for your child to be seen. We must have a current copy for the current month for all appointments.
